MidWest festival is one of the biggest GridLife events of the season, with over 20,000 festival attendees and the biggest field of competitors it’s always an event to remember.
We headed into this event on the back of some really strong finishes, with a car that has been performing really well all year. Leaving Atlanta we had work to do to fix our engine after our head gasket failure, but we were up for the challenge to get ready!
The team worked diligently to get our spare engine built and into the car, we faced some challenges as things came together though as we were missing some horsepower and weren’t quite sure what was going on. As the team worked through things though we got a handle on things, we knew we’d have some work to do at the track figuring a few last minute things out but we were confident we had everything ready as we loaded up for the short trip to Michigan.
