Early on in the release of the 10 Gen Shifter, we had some inquiry's about making it work in various vehicles, so we decided its a very good base to utilize in a more universal setup. The shifter works with a few of the popular transmissions after some tweaks to the cables. In the 10th Gen chassis, the shifter feet sit on an angle in the center console which is not optimal as many exhaust tunnels are flat. So we designed replacement feet that allow the shifter to mount flat on basically any exhaust tunnel with some drilling required for the mounting hardware. We also replace the top plate on the shifter to allow for the extra movement in transmissions like the 8th gen which are not as tight as the newer gens.
This is a great option for someone wanting to get their shifter closer to the steering wheel. It also looks cool.
