Our strong start to the season continues at GridLife Special Stage. This is a special track to me as a driver, we’ve been coming here since 2015 and we’ve held many records at this track over the years in different categories. We set the TrackMod FWD record with GridLife at this track in 2019 and we have been trying to break that record ever since unsuccessfully, but this year we finally did it.
This event is very different from the rest of the GridLife season, the schedule is compact as we share the event with Formula Drift. We have 6 sessions total for the weekend with minimal time between sessions so you don’t have many attempts and you certainly don’t have a lot of time if you have any issues with your car. Luckily our car performed flawlessly and this is a track I know well so it didn’t take us long to get up to speed.
